Here’s a list of questions and answers that may be helpful.

What makes you unique from other designers?

I offer years of accumulated industry experience, having worked in different design disciplines, in both online, offline, through-the-line media. I know that making things look pretty is just the tip of the iceberg. Design has to be effective to communicate.

I do not provide strategic marketing plans, but I apply strategic thinking and reasoning to my work.

Terms like ROI or USP are not foreign to me. I do not provide strategic marketing plans, but I apply strategic thinking and reasoning to my work. I have a rationale behind my concepts and decisions in my design.

Sometimes, I even write copy for my projects. :)

I am sure I am not the only one who can do all the above, but I know there are not many others.

You sound like you do not have much flaws.

Actually I am constantly learning to improve, I do not proclaim to write the best code or the design the best work, but I give my best to each and every project. I try to apply my acquired knowledge to my work, for the benefits of my clients.

Can you provide live URLS to your work?

The core of my work involves template design, usually compromising of the main page and a generic subpage, which are usually passed over to backend programmers on the client’s side for execution. Usually the client prefers to take ownership of the project after the design end is completed, sometimes resulting in modification of the original design provided by me. I very much prefer to display my work as-it-is, the way I meant it to be.

Does that mean you do not have much experience in developing entire sites?

I very much enjoy the design process and will prefer to focus the core of my work in design, preferring to allow people who are more equipped to handle the backend. However, I do get involved in start-to-finish projects if the right opportunity arrives, and in fact right now I am handling a few such projects that are due to be launched soon.

How about examples of your template coding?

Sure, contact me for more details.

Do you have a blog?

Yes, after much self-nagging I have finally pushed my blog live. I write on a strange but interesting combination of topics, from freelancing to my spiritual experiences.

What do you mean by independent?

I do not belong to any company or organization, nor do I see myself as a business entity. I think of myself as a designer offering my services and ideas as an individual.

And ‘integrated’ means…

I provide an integration of design solutions, that include mainly identity, print, and web design.

Can I see even more work?

Yes, you can see older, archived work, including ad campaigns, older websites and much more other stuff here .

Feel free send an email wynlim[at]gmail.com if you still have questions for me. :)
